Administrative

Approximate Hours Per Week: 20-40 hours per week
Qualifications: FBI Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, State Background Check
Starting Pay: 17.00 per hour
Job Description: As a part of the administrative team you will complete daily office tasks that will include, filing and organizing confidential client information, professionally and effectively being able to communicate by phone with clients and their families, insurance companies, and other professionals. A basic knowledge of Word and Excel, and Outlook is required. Ability to complete multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment and work as a part of a team is necessary. 

Direct Care Staff (BHT-ABA)

Approximate Hours Per Week: 20-40 hours per week
Qualifications: FBI Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, State Background Check
Starting Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour
Job Description: Come join our team and provide Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA Therapy) to clients with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Learn to teach a variety of life skills, lead educational programming, and implement behavioral protocols. All staff are supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and are required to obtain certification in Safe Crisis Management (on-site training provided).

Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)

Qualifications: Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification, Behavior Specialist License, FBI Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, State Background Check
Job Description: At Behavior By Design, our BCBA’s are required to demonstrate comprehensive ABA knowledge and a variety of experience implementing this knowledge with clients. Applicants must have experience working with a variety of behaviors and a diverse population of clients. An ability to work with other analysts as a team is required. BCBA’s must be willing to provide direct care to clients in multiple settings. All BCBA’s must obtain certification in Safe Crisis Management (on-site training provided).

Undergraduate

Approximate Hours: flexible, up to 30 hours per week
Qualifications: FBI Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, State Background Check
Starting Pay: This internship is unpaid, but eligible for academic or course credit if approved by your educational institution.
Job Description: Apply for the opportunity to observe individuals with developmental/ intellectual disabilities as they are receiving Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA Therapy). Complete a variety of assignments to learn about ABA and the wide scope of services that this science can be applied to. Receive guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to improve professional skills such as communication and time-management.

Graduate

Desired Major: Applied Behavior Analysis Masters Student
Approximate Hours: 15-30 hours per week
Qualifications: FBI Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, State Background Check
Starting Pay: Hours acquired toward field experience are unpaid, additional hours will be paid at 13.00 per hour
Job Description: This internship opportunity is for graduate students who are enrolled in BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) approved coursework and intend on taking the exam to attain a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification. During the internship you will complete the BACB required hours through observations, direct client work, advanced assignments, and supervision meetings. Gain exposure to a variety of specialties/populations, perform research, engage in guided discussions, and learn a variety of professional skills. Graduate level internships are individualized, but all interns will be required to follow the BACB’s current Task List and Ethical Code of Conduct. All graduate level interns are required to obtain certification in Safe Crisis Management (on-site training provided).
